Jojo's Bizarre Dungeon

Jojo's Bizarre Dungeon is a fork of Pixel Dungeon (the most popular open-source roguelike for Android) that trades the classic medieval fantasy setting for that of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure anime. This means that, instead of the genre's usual character classes, such as warrior, thief, or mage, you'll be able to choose from some of the most popular anime characters, such as Giorno, Joseph, or Jotaro.

A real traditional roguelike

Like the other games based on the Pixel Dungeon code, Jojo's Bizarre Dungeon is a traditional roguelike, with all that this entails. All actions in the game are turn-based, so enemies will only move when you do. Similarly, the game has permanent death and a high difficulty level. This means that if you aren't careful and advance head-first through the game's dungeons, your character will end up biting the dust very quickly.

Choose from several characters with unique abilities

One of the most fun parts of Jojo's Bizarre Dungeon is that you can choose between six of the main characters from the various Jojo's Bizarre Adventure arcs. In the beginning, you'll only have Joseph Joestar unlocked, who will be able to use the hamon to defeat the enemies. As you play and defeat bosses, however, you'll be able to unlock Jonathan, Jotaro, Giorno, Josuke and Jolyne. Each character has their own abilities derived from their own stands.

Reach the end of the dungeon to defeat Dio

As it could not be otherwise, Jojo's Bizarre Dungeon's final enemy is Dio. As you make your way deeper, you'll face stronger and stronger enemies. Luckily, with the experience you gain, you can also upgrade your skills and those of your stand. Choosing the equipment that best suits your character is also very important. Otherwise, you'll have no chance when you reach the final boss. Like the original Pixel Dungeon boss, Dio can kill your character in just a few turns if you aren't prepared.
